SPECTATOR TIPS
Viewing a friend or family member running in the marathon or half marathon is easier than you think. Your runner will be following the course, while you can take shortcuts back and forth on the course and get to your next viewing location like the ING Cheer Zone before your runner does. However, since the object here is to both see and be seen, you’ll need to work out a few details beforehand.

1. Make your very own and unique signs that your runner can easily identify

2. It’s also essential that you know your marathoner’s expected pace per mile. Once you know this, you can pick up an ING pace band at the ING booth at the Nissan Total Health & Fitness Expo presented by the Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald. Then you can consult the pace band and the course map to find out at what time your runner will be at the different spots on the course. This way you can determine at what time you need to be at the ING Cheer Zone and back at the finish line to catch a glimpse of your marathoner or half marathoner.

Surprise your runner with multiple appearances on the course and cheer your favorite runner across the finish line!!!!

THE FINISH LINE
To see the actual finish, all you need is to get to Bayfront Park. We are providing bleachers for our spectators which are available on a first come first serve basis. These bleachers are located just south of the finish line.
