The TotalHealth & Fitness Expo Presented by The Miami Herald & El Nuevo Herald will be the only place where you can pick-up your registration packet. Remember to bring a picture ID. If the races are not filled to capacity, there will be a registration booth at the expo as well. Please note that there will be NO race day registration and NO Race day packet pick-up.

GEAR CHECK:
Before the race, runners can store their warm-up clothes in the Gear Check Tent located at the Finish Line (3 blocks south of the Start Line). Gear will remain at the location until after the race for pick-up.
Gear Check will open at 5 AM.
We will not handle any luggage, loose items or paper bags.
Participants should use the plastic gear check bag provided. Detach the gear check tag from your bib and securely attach to the bag with the zip tie provided inside the race packet.
DO NOT check in valuables. The ING Miami Marathon® and PR Racing are NOT responsible for any lost or stolen articles. Any gear not claimed before Gear Check closes at noon will be taken back to the Marathon Office. Any gear not claimed by March 1, 2008 will be donated to a local charity.
Parking for the expo is available near the hall. Flat rates and hourly rate garages and lots are nearby as well as metered spaces. The City of Miami manages the lot in front of the hall, please note the parking fee is now $15. The highest concentration of parking spaces in Miami Beach exists within 1-2 blocks of the convention center.
There will be plenty of parking at Miami Beach Senior High School on the corner of Dade Blvd. and Prairie. There will be a $10 charge to park at this lot with all proceeds going to help the Miami Beach Senior High School Band and Orchestra Program.

I-95 Southbound, Exit 195 East (Julia Tuttle Causeway) to Alton Road South, Left on 17th Street, Left on Convention Center Drive.

I-95 Northbound, Exit 395 East (MacArthur Causeway) to Alton Road North, Right on 17th Street, Left on Convention Center Drive.

There will be shuttle service available from the Miami Beach Convention Center to the Start/Finish area in Downtown Miami on race morning. Participants and guests can utilize this service.

Pre Race -- Shuttles will be leaving Miami Beach Convention Center at 4:30 a.m. to ensure timely arrival at the Start Line

Directions from Finish:
Walk to the end of the finish line chute and make a left at NE 3 Street, NE 2 Ave is one block away.
For first timers, Boston qualifiers and anyone looking to keep a steady pace, these pacers will guide you to the finish line. To sign up for a pace group, find the PACERS BOOTH at the TotalHealth and Fitness Expo Presented by the Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald and ask them to show you the way.
Half Marathon runners will be able to use marathon pacers until the 12.8 mile mark. Pacers will continue for the full while half marathoners veer off to finish. The following pace times will be available:
3:00, 3:10, 3:20, 3:30, 3:40, 3:50, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00, 5:30
Find your pacer at the Start Line Corrals on race morning dressed to impress in New Balance apparel and follow them to your target time!

We will be conducting two sweepstakes - the "Marathon Diamond Medal Sweepstakes" and "Half Marathon Medal Diamond Sweepstakes".
Registered participants of the half marathon and full marathon will be automatically included into their respective sweepstake drawings. One entry from the "Marathon Diamond Medal Sweepstakes" and one from the "Half Marathon Diamond Medal Sweepstakes" will be randomly selected during the starting ceremonies.
The winning race number will be posted at Richard's Gems and Jewelry in downtown miami shortly thereafter, and remain posted for 5 days at the store.
